We now meet in the lecture rooms at the American Express Sports & Social Club.
The lecture rooms are situated behind the American Express building in Edward Street, opposite the John Street Police station.
Drive up Carlton Hill (runs parallel to Edward Street) and turn right into Mighell Street, by Thwaites Garage.
Drive to the end and turn right down a steep ramp.
The entrance to the S&SC is on your right and there will be a barrier ahead.
Drive through the barrier and park anywhere - only condition is that under no circumstances must any vehicle be left there overnight.
Ring the doorbell and someone should come down to let you in.
As guests to the club we will need to sign in each week - a tick against your name in the blue folder will suffice.
The new lecture rooms provide better facilities at a more favourable rate.
It also allows people not involved in the lectures to meet socially and relax in the bar area, before the meeting starts and afterwards if they're not involved in pool training.
