Come Diving with the Sussex Diving Club

Never dived before, but would like to try? Learned to dive on holiday and want to carry on diving back home? Would like to dive more regularly in a friendly relaxed club atmosphere? Then you've come to the right place. Sussex Diving Club is based in Brighton on the South Coast and can offer all this and more ......

	I want to learn to dive We welcome new members and have a comprehensive training program, from complete beginner to fully qualified Advanced Diver
	I'm already qualified and want to do more diving There are dozens of local Shipwrecks and Inshore Reefs that we regularly dive from our own boats. Why not join us and you could be diving any night of the week? We particularly welcome divers who have qualified with other organisations. We already have a number of members who joined us from PADI and SAA.
	Facilities for visiting divers We have two fast boats in Brighton Marina and welcome divers from other clubs to come along on any of our dives. We have our own compressor so we can fill your bottles too.

Information for Club Members

We now meet in the lecture rooms at the American Express Sports & Social Club. The lecture rooms are situated behind the American Express building in Edward Street, opposite the John Street Police station.

Drive up Carlton Hill (runs parallel to Edward Street) and turn right into Mighell Street, by Thwaites Garage. Drive to the end and turn right down a steep ramp. The entrance to the S&SC is on your right and there will be a barrier ahead. Drive through the barrier and park anywhere - only condition is that under no circumstances must any vehicle be left there overnight.

Ring the doorbell and someone should come down to let you in. As guests to the club we will need to sign in each week - a tick against your name in the blue folder will suffice.

The new lecture rooms provide better facilities at a more favourable rate. It also allows people not involved in the lectures to meet socially and relax in the bar area, before the meeting starts and afterwards if they're not involved in pool training.
