Sunken ships, aircraft and artificial reefs offer some of the most exciting diving opportunities in the world. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course teaches you the skills, techniques and safety considerations needed to safely explore and enjoy wreck diving.

Duration: 2 Days (4 Open Water Training Dives)

Learn how to survey wrecks, avoid common hazards, use lines and reels, and responsibly explore these incredible underwater time capsules.

The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course is one of the most popular advanced diving courses and is often considered an essential step for divers looking to expand their underwater horizons.

Many of the world's most exciting dive sites lie below the recreational Open Water limit of 18 metres. Whether you're interested in exploring deeper wrecks, dramatic walls, offshore reefs or preparing for future technical diving training, the Deep Diver Specialty course provides the knowledge and practical experience needed to dive safely and confidently to depths of up to 40 metres.

During the course you'll learn how depth affects your body, equipment and gas consumption. You'll gain hands-on experience planning and conducting deep dives, monitoring your no-decompression limits, managing gas supplies and recognising the effects of nitrogen narcosis.

Under the supervision of an experienced PADI Instructor, you'll complete four open water training dives where you'll develop essential deep diving skills including:

Deep dive planning and preparation
Gas management and emergency procedures
Use of backup equipment and redundant systems
Recognising and managing nitrogen narcosis
Understanding colour loss, light absorption and pressure effects at depth
Safe ascent procedures and safety stops
Navigation and communication techniques for deep environments

Upon successful completion you'll earn the internationally recognised PADI Deep Diver Specialty certification, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres within the limits of your training and experience.

The PADI Deep Diver course is an excellent addition to your diving qualifications and is highly recommended for divers planning overseas dive holidays, wreck diving adventures, liveaboard trips and advanced continuing education programmes.
